What Makes This Board Different
While it plays as a standard 8x8 chess board, the construction is engineered for precision and durability.
The board surface is made from:
• 32 white raised tiles
• 32 black raised tiles
• Hidden snap-fit clip connectors
• A perimeter border frame
• A recessed architectural castle base
Each square is an individual component. The tiles connect using an integrated clip system that locks them securely together. Once assembled, the completed grid sits snugly inside the surrounding border and drops cleanly into the fortress base.

The board arrives in components and assembles using the integrated snap-clip system.
No glue required.

The Royal Battle Board includes a full black and white chess set designed to feel substantial and detailed.
These are fully dimensional pieces with sculpted texture and layered depth — not flat or minimalist forms.
